Product Strategy

- Understand the products current and evolving business goals and translate them into a scalable product vision

- Ability to drive a marketplace model that delivers value to both buyers and sellers alike

- Ability to define clear strategies for Mobile and Web Platform (Android, IOS, Desktop and Mobile Web)

- Develop and manage a roadmap over several products, with a focus on delivering excellent user experiences. This is for both Pre-booking and Post booking funnels

- Ability to define and drive metrics like conversion rates, funnel flow, NPS & quality scores etc

- Alignment of product roadmap with market and competitive trends and customer demands

- Lead and develop product strategy and end state planning in partnership with customers.

- Competitive product positioning - Customer analysis, competitive / bench marking analysis and feature parity analysis

- Establish and deploy robust requirement-gathering processes to define product requirements as well as build continuous feedback proactively identify issues impacting the product line and recommend next steps/solutions

- Support and lead the common PDLC tools and processes that the Product Management organization will adopt

- Continuously improve the product development process, incorporating lessons learned and best practices

- Create Product and feature collateral including product layout, user experience, value proposition etc

- Coordinate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure product features meet identified and agreed upon exit criteria

Desired Skills:

- Well-versed in the entire life-cycle of an internet / ecommerce product, from concept, to opportunity assessment, to requirement documents and feasibility assessments, prototyping to wireframes and through execution, and be comfortable working across teams of producers, content strategists, designers and business stakeholders

- A Goibibo Brand Head must have dual capability to have a broad, strategic vision for the business and at the same time, be willing and able to roll up their sleeves and set strong system

- A constant look-out for disruptive innovation and an eye on value creation are must-have qualities

- The individual sets a high bar for performance for self and team and must adopt and perpetuate a non-hierarchical style of management

- Should be obsessed with data

An Ideal Candidate should be:

- Has worked in online / Ecommerce Company. Experience in B2C is a plus

- Experience in developing products from concept to launch

- Market knowledge of internet-related industries

- Passionate about mobile apps. Always on the lookout for new apps /technologies

- Can get into the shoes of the customer and then think of solutions

- Uses data to solve problems
