Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager - Marketing - SEM (Looking for people with good analytical skills)

Job description :

Core Purpose Of The Job :

- Responsible for driving revenue and ROI on PPC channels. Developing a team of junior analysts or managers to optimize PPC campaigns. Develop business plans, revenue projections and deliver against it.

Areas Of Responsibility :

- Identifying and implementing strategies for increasing revenue and transactions through PPC marketing channels

- Managing Ad Campaigns on major PPC / Meta and affiliate platforms such as:

a) TripAdvisor

b) Trivago

c) Skyscanner

d) Hotelscombined

e) Google, MSN Adwords

f) Google Hotel Price Ads

- Responsible for bid optimization, portfolio selection to deliver Revenue targets and ROI on Ad spend

- Good analytical skills

- Develop pricing recommendations and drive it through the Pricing team

- Develop and implement bid optimization framework and implement simple SQL based or advanced machine learning based algorithms

- Find opportunities to leverage data mining techniques to drive ROI of ad spend

- Collaborative filtering, Association Rules etc.

- Use web analytics tool (Adobe Discover) to identify marketing opportunities (source countries, destinations, popular hotels etc.)

- Manage relationships with marketing channel and drive them for actionable insights

- Co-ordinate between Tech and Product to drive conversion improvement tactics

- Management reporting, oversee MIS reporting

- Prepare strategy and performance update presentations

Desired Skills and Experience :

Educational Qualification: MBA/B.E degree or equivalent degree in quantitative field

Relevant Experience :

- Business Analytics, Marketing Analytics

- Knowledge and experience in PPC for at least 3 years is a must

Competencies Required :

Functional Competencies :

- Advanced skills in Excel

- Hands on and high familiarity with SQL

- High level knowledge of XML, scripting etc.

- Knowledge of powerpoint and slide building
