Core Purpose of the Job :

- Developing content for website by conducting thorough research to enhance current products on the website

- Doing SEO and social media trend research to conceptualize an editorial calendar

- Writing creative content for our products to address broad consumer audience

- Conceptualizing and creating business communications - both internal and customer facing

- Creating marketing communications

- Experience in creating content for social media

- Have very clear understand of the English language to ensure creation of precise communication

- Editing all content going out from the team

Areas of Responsibilities (AOR) :

- Development of web content for websites and portals

- Creating marketing communications

- Creating business communications - internal and customer facing with focus on customer experience

- Editing of blogs and marketing content being promoted across all mediums

- Rewriting and modifying the existing content.

- Conducting thorough research online for industry specific content

- Conceptualisation of ideas to enhance the existing products on the site.

- Conducting quality checks for web pages before making them live.

- Work collaboratively in a cross functional team environment and creating written content to suit business requirements.

Success Indicators :

- Successful delivery of web content maintaining consistency and accuracy

- Communication development keeping customer experience in mind

- Getting the content right with as few iterations as is possible

- Explaining complex things in simple ways to a broad consumer audience

- Adherence to the turnaround time.

Job Requirements :

- Minimum 4 to 5 years experience as a content writer/ editor

- A flair for writing with an understanding of what works on the internet and industry

- An excellent communicator, sensitive to language, and comfortable composing in language on demand.

- Must be a careful reader and a persuasive, inventive writer

- Having team management skills will be an asset
