Performance Marketing - Senior Manager
Core Purpose of The Job :
- He/ She will manage the paid search budget and work with the relevant business teams in order to maximize ROI, drive traffic, and customer acquisition.
- They will be managing a 3-4-member team.
- Develop business plans, revenue projections and deliver against it.
- Co-ordinate across cross-functional teams and manage key stakeholders.
- Candidates with hands on experience of online marketing tools will be preferred.
Areas of Responsibility :
1. Own overall traffic delivery and customer acquisitions.
2. Spearhead planning exercise involving cost and traffic projections.
3. Conceptualize tests, collect and analyze data, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns. Leverage data analytics to deliver strong marketing efficiencies.
4. Collaborate closely with product/revenue team to maximize ROI on the paid campaigns.
5. Design & launch periodic experiments with clear success/failure metrics; for all major line of businesses.
6. Identify opportunities for automation and create roadmap for the same in conjunction with data science team.
7. Drive thought leadership in paid marketing landscape and drive strategy.
8. Responsible for bid optimization, portfolio selection to deliver Revenue targets and ROI on Ad spend. Test new platforms, features and optimization methods.
9. Use web analytics tool (Adobe Omniture) to identify marketing opportunities (source countries, destinations, popular hotels etc.) Monitoring, Tracking and optimizing campaigns to ensure business deliveries.
10. Co-ordinate between Tech and Product to drive conversion optimization and regular co-ordination with internal stakeholders with performance reporting.
Desired Profile :
1. Educational Qualification: MBA from a tier 1 institute
2. Proven SEM experience and success managing PPC campaigns across Google and Bing
3. Well-versed in performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
4. Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in search engine marketing
5. In-depth experience with bid management tools (e.g., AMO, Conversion Optimizer, Click Equations, Marin, Kenshoo, Search Ignite)
6. Experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
7. Must have a strong grasp of numbers and be comfortable with quantitative analyses and simple statistics.
8. 7-9 years digital marketing experience.
9. Excellent team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
