Senior Manager - Marketing Engineering & Analytics
About Role:
This role will be instrumental in driving business growth through data-driven insights, strategic decision-making, and effective team management. The personnel will lead a team of analysts and be responsible for analyzing customer data, providing actionable insights, shaping the company's strategy, and fostering a culture of excellence and leadership within the team.
Responsibilities:1. Customer Insights: Utilize data analysis to gain deep insights into customer behavior, preferences, and trends, helping the company understand its target audience better.
2. Business Understanding: Develop a strong understanding of MakeMyTrip's business goals, strategies, and market dynamics to align data-driven insights with organizational objectives.
3. Data Analysis: Utilize tools such as Excel, SQL, and Python to collect, clean, and analyze large datasets, identifying patterns and opportunities for growth.
4. Reporting and Data Visualization: Create clear and concise reports and dashboards to communicate insights effectively to leadership and cross-functional teams.
5. Data Science: Apply advanced data science techniques to solve complex business problems and develop predictive models to support decision-making.
6. Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture, setting clear goals, and providing coaching and feedback.
7. Leadership: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and refine business strategies, leveraging data insights to drive decision-making.
Qualifications:1. Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, and Python for data analysis.
2. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
3. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
4. Strong team management and leadership experience.
5. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.

7. Proven track record of delivering business impact through data-driven insights.
Education & Experience:1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (B. Tech. or equivalent).
2. MBA or a relevant advanced degree is desirable.
3. 8-11 years of professional experience in analytics, data science, or strategy roles.
