About the Opportunity:


Role : Market Development Manager

Level : Senior Manager/ Associate

Location : Mumbai

What are you required to bring to the team:

- B2B2C (myPartner) is a new Strategic business unit of MMT group launched in 2020. My Partner aims to provide seamless, reliable, real time inventory and price of different travel products such as domestic and international hotels, flights and holiday packages to millions of travel agent partners across the country.

In a short span the business has scaled up to more than 21k travel agent partners active on its platform. Being a new business, we are continuously building innovative solutions to meet the dynamic needs of the travel agent partners and to help them grow their travel business.

What will you be doing:

- Act as a business owner by driving top of the funnel, adoption and conversion across specific cohorts pan India.

- Define and drive strategic growth plan for the Travel Agents cohorts across the country with end-to-end execution of the same

- Be the custodian of Market Intelligence, identify market opportunities and work towards strong Go -to- Market strategy, competition analysis and market dynamics to gain share quarter on quarter

- Work closely with Product, Revenue & Category and Marketing teams to formulate strategies that help in growing top line and effectively implement the same.

- Build an environment of consistent learning to deliver strong capability of business managers and deliver superlative performance

- Drive platform and technology adoption across partners through extensive training and monitoring

- Monitor and achieve daily / monthly / quarterly numbers on various metrics

- Ensure entire team acts as a consultant to grow the Partner's business and deliver healthy Net Promoter Score

- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement

- Maintain strong professional relationship with partners across the country

- Influence business and industry practices by driving innovative ideas, solutions and products through leadership and decisive action

Interaction Points:

- Impactfully communicate with internal and external stakeholders

Qualification & Experience:

- MBA from reputed institute with 6-10 years of experience in sales/ B2B sales/ B2C sales/ Key Account Management/ Business Development

- Must have experience of leading a market team of atleast 8-10 executives successfully

Key Success Factors for the Role:

- Good understanding of the travel market and growth opportunities in order to implement strategic and targeted action plans to achieve goals

- Passion for data and an exceptional ability to solve complex problems

- Ability to think both strategically and tactically with strong focus

- Strong communication skills, Influencing skills, great interpersonal & stakeholder management skills.

- High on energy, team player coupled with a great attitude.
