About the function :

- The role incumbent will be a part of Holiday Supply team supporting the holidays Business. With an earnest understanding of Indian consumers travel preferences, the Holidays team offers a vast range of holiday packages for destinations across the world.

- This business caters to various segments of travelers travelling to every part of the globe. While the dynamic or customized travel and tour packages offer consumers an option to create and design their own holiday, the fixed departure holiday packages have a pre-designed itinerary.

- Holiday Supply team manages supply from independent hotels, chain hotels, DMC's across Domestic and International markets. Leading in a highly competitive market is the goal to success.

About the role :

This role is critical part of the Business Development Management team in the Holiday Supply Function. The incumbent will be responsible for building supply with competitive rates and inventory, assistance in portfolio analysis and insights and manage the operational work-tasks of the Supply team. This role would also involve coordinating with the partners and ensuring seamless relationship building with them

What are you required to bring to the team :

Relationship & Key Account Management :

- As a Supply Manager, your key responsibility will be to extend exceptional efforts to ensure MakeMyTrip is able to attain and maintain a market leadership position in your assigned market

- Be proactive in identifying market opportunities, develop strategies, and implement plans to effectively seize the moment and ensure we achieve/exceed supply and production targets

- Collaborate with partners in the portfolio and provide expertise, metrics, analysis and recommendations based on the industry's best practices

- The role will involve travel across various cities for meeting relevant decision makers

Portfolio Management a& Driving Growth for units :

- Review monthly production reports and provide feedback to hotels and vendors, plan and execute market visits, review meetings (Virtually + in person) to discuss monthly performance.

- Build review reports, share insights on market with the property owners/ managers, comp-set analysis to drive growth for the unit

- Ensure adequate inventory availability and price competitiveness throughout the year

Negotiation Skills :

- Ability to network, initiate deals, negotiate & close deals with partners

- Strategize in order to market the properties in a better way

- Exclusive deals from partners to ensure competitive edge for Holidays Business

Personality :

- Stakeholder Management Skills

- Good at numbers and data analysis

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Team player :

- Flair for Travel is also a pre-requisite for the job profile

- Strategic thinking

- High on analytical and problem-solving skills

What will you be doing :

Operational Excellence :

- The incumbent will be responsible in supporting and driving sustainable performance of their respective portfolios

- End to end management of the operational work-tasks of account management

- Ensure smooth coordination and collaboration with internal stakeholders ; category, revenue teams, Online, Operations, Finance, and external stakeholders like partners, Tourism Boards

Inventory Management & Oversight :

- Track the inventory levels as per the business plans

- Maintain the optimum inventory levels as per the market demand

- Data Analysis and Reporting

- Share insights on market and industry with the clients and internal stakeholders

- Respond to data & report related queries of internal stakeholders

Skill Set Required :

- Excellent communication skills.

- Analytical bent of mind.

- Networking, Deal initiating, negotiation & closing deal with the partners.

- Strategize in order to enhance Holidays Portfolio

Tools that will be used :

- MS Excel

- MS Power-point

Qualification & Experience :

- MBA from reputed institute with 1 to 4 years of experience in Sales/Travel Trade/Key Account Management/Contracting/B2B Sales

- Experience in handling multiple high value key accounts as a partner is preferred
