What you are required to bring to the team:

B2B2C and Affiliates' is a new Strategic business unit of MMT group launched in 2020 which aims to provide seamless, reliable, real time inventory and price of different travel products such as domestic and international hotels, flights and holiday packages to lacs of travel agent partners across the country, through our platform 'myPartner'. As B2B Airline Contracting Manager, you are at the centre of the action of GO-MMTs dynamic myPartner Team. You will be responsible for engaging and contracting with airline carriers and aggregators for the flights business of myPartner. You must have extensive experience in managing end-to-end partner relationships, and have the ability to maximise revenue from the airlines for the team. You will be involved in negotiating incentives and marketing deals, ensuring on-time payment recovery, managing post sales operations and building a strategic partnership with the airline carriers.

Being a new business, we are continuously building innovative solutions to meet the dynamic needs of the travel agent partners and to help them grow their travel business. This is a critical role and the person must quickly build thorough understanding of the products/ services offered by MakeMyTrip B2B2C and Affiliates' - myPartner.

What will you be doing:

- Manage large & small Domestic and International airline carriers or aggregators.

- Negotiate commissions and incentive deals, ensure on-time payment recovery, manage post sales operations and drive end-to-end flights supply execution.

- Ensure rate competitiveness across multiple available platforms.

- Identify new revenue opportunities from airlines on the back of market analysis, competitive landscape & campaign performances

- Strategize in order to promote the airline in a better way. Provide product feedback to the airlines to help them understand needs of their customers and at the same time grow their business.

- Build market intelligence of offline or B2B industry and apply good supply practices here.

- Monitor the Air Business - myPartner performance and implement new strategies to achieve sales target and to maximize the profit.

Interaction Points:

- Form strategic partnerships with airline partners and negotiate the best marketing deals.

- Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders for execution.

- Leverage B2B learnings by sharing with business, revenue, product and tech teams to assist in more informed decision-making

- Develop a deep understanding of travel agent partners, keep a pulse on the competitive landscape and work with airline carriers to position us as a leader in our industry

Qualification:

- 6+ years of Airline B2B Contracting/ Sales/ Travel Trade/ Key Account management

- Experience in handling multiple partner accounts is preferred

- Post-graduation from a premium institute

Experience-

- Worked in the aviation/travel industry

- Good at commercial negotiations and building strategic partnerships.

- Great track record of collaboration across different teams and functions

- Quick with learning of business and understanding of data.

- Strong analytical and presentation skills

- Highly self-motivated individual with creative flair and eye for good design and extreme attention to detail

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
