Category Manager - Ground Transport


Role Overview: This role will be a part of Ground Transport Strategy team wherein the incumbent would be leading the growth & analytics charter. He / She will be a techno-functional expert & will act as the POC for various strategic projects.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead projects of strategic importance end to end, including internal & external stakeholder management.

2. Provide actionable insights & simultaneously drive execution of multiple projects along with various stakeholders.

3. Building & Tracking MIS & business intelligence reports for various KRAs.

4. Regularly create high impact & creative presentations (both qualitative & quantitative) as per business requirement on various agendas & reviews.

5. Coordinating closely with various departments like Marketing, Product, Corporate etc. to ensure all their needs are catered to and leads to Business growth for the organization.

6. Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.

7. Scope up the opportunities in the Indian Travel market & including benchmarking with other players inside & outside the industry.

8. Create detail business plan, define the strategy, and identifying the milestone for every phase on how we can execute that vision into a real thing.

9. Work with management to prioritize business needs and cater to information needs.

10. Locate and define new process improvement opportunities to help scale the business.

What you will bring to the team:

- Your ability to work in cross-functional environments including working closely with Product, Tech, Supply, Marketing, Finance, External stakeholders, post sales etc. Your passion for data & an exceptional ability to solve complex problems.

- Your drive to grow strategic accounts & partnerships for the organization.

Key Skills required:

1. Great communication skills, interpersonal & stakeholder management skills.

2. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

3. High on energy, team player coupled with a great attitude.

4. Good understanding preferably of the Travel market and E-commerce industry.

5. Proficient in creating PPTs & decks.

6. Advanced MS Excel.

7. Experience - 4-7 years of experience
