About the Opportunity:

Role - Business Development Manager

Level - Senior Executive

Reporting to - Zonal Manager

Location - PAN India

Ajmer, Amritsar, Gurgaon, Chennai, Nainital, Darjeeling, Goa, Kodaikanal and Munnar

What you are required to bring to the team: As the driving force behind generating new sales leads, contacts and managing relationship with our partners, a successful Business Development Manager is a highly prized asset at GO-MMT.

What will you be doing: As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for connecting and engaging with independent hotels or Villas, Apartments, Homestays and premium vacation rentals (referred as, Alternative Accommodation). You will be managing end-to-end accounts and driving sustainable performance of our hotel/ channel partner for the assigned region. The role involves travelling to different hotels/ properties in the portfolio and providing expertise, metrics, analysis and recommendations based on the industry's best practices to our partners.

Know the Function - The supply team ensures sufficient supply of hotels/ alternate accommodation across India and has about 40k+ Independent Hotels contracted and has about 25k+ Villa's, Cottages, & homes on our platforms.

What will you learn as a Business Development Manager -

- Managing large & small-scale hotel/ alternative accommodation accounts.

- Forming strategic partnerships with vendor partners

- Exposure to engage and learn from leading industry stalwarts

- Build remote working relationships

- Gain contracting and financial acumen

Key Skills -

1. Relationship and Account Management :

- The Person will be responsible for connecting and engaging with independent hotels/ alternative accommodations

- End to end account management and driving sustainable performance for the assigned region

- Sourcing out & onboarding new hotels/ alternative accommodations

- The role involves travel to different hotels/ cities in the portfolio and providing expertise, metrics, analysis and recommendations based on the industry's best practices to the hotel partners

2. Portfolio Management and Driving Growth :

Grow net revenue in the market by producing business plans to achieve revenue goals, ensuring inventory levels exceed demand throughout the market, ensuring rate competitiveness across multiple available platforms

3. Data Analysis and Reporting:

Establish and maintain supplier relationships, train partner hotels on our extranet and the wholesale business, review monthly production reports and provide feedback to top producing hotels, plan and execute market site visits

Building MIS & market intelligence reports, preparing geography wise and service wise sales plans and achieving them. Sharing insights on market and industry with the clients and internal stake holders

4. Negotiating:

Networking, Deal initiating, negotiation & closing deal with the clients.

Strategize in order to market the hotel in a better way. It helps hotel partners to serve the needs of their customers and at the same time grow their businesses

- External Hotel partners

- Liaise with internal teams such as Operations, Product.

Qualification & Experience:

- MBA with 2-4 years of relevant experience in Business Development

Key skills for the Role:

- Strong communication skills

- Good at numbers and data analysis

- Team player

- Flair for Travel are also pre-requisite for the job profile

- Overall go-getter attitude
