Key Responsibilities- 1. Monthly GST computation and payment thereof; 2. Filing of GST returns across multiple jurisdictions/Reconciliation with books; 3. Regular updation with Notifications/Circulars and evaluating its impact on business; 4. Assistance in handling internal audit and other statutory/departmental audits; 5. Reply to departmental notices on indirect tax issues. 6. Deploying and implementing process improvements. 7. Working knowledge of accounting with respect to GST. 8. Liaison with external advisors in relation to indirect tax issues. Position Requirements: - Chartered Accountant with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience - Previous experience working with GST, Indirect taxation and also in process improvements. - Previous experience evaluating process controls, procedures, and flows - Excellent communication skills including the ability to synthesise and see the big picture - Ability to juggle more than one project at a time and work in a fast-paced environment - Ensuring compliance to Generally Accepted Accounting Standards, Principles and guidelines.
