Position background:

The position is for a Senior Manager / DGM - Telesales and is based out of Gurgaon (Delhi NCR area). The position is in the leadership team of the company. Makaan.com currently operates out of 8 locations in India thru its offices in Gurgaon, Noida, Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Chennai.

The company plans to expand aggressively over the next 2-3 years and is looking at adding new revenue streams. The person will be required to set up & build the telesales network from scratch.

KRAs: The person will be heading a team of 30-40 callers in year 1 with the provision to scale up to 100 telesales representatives over the next 2 & 3 years. The main KRAs of the person will be:

- To carry the overall revenue target for the telesales team

- To design the backend systems & procedures for business monitoring

- To train the callers on best practices in selling on phone

- To maintain attrition within the desired

Type of person: We are looking for a dynamic person having:

- Overall 8 - 12 years+ in sales (preferably online sales) with at least 2 - 4 years in a outbound telesales setup

- Should have managed telesales operation of a mid size team (upto 100 people)

- Hands on experience in setting backend systems & procedures for business monitoring

- In-depth knowledge of sales tracking like customer profiling, pipeline management etc

- Knowledge of Cat A & Cat B cities in India (dynamics like language, customer type & other local issues)

- Exposure to telesales operations of an online company will be an added advantage

- Should have exposure to employee engagement techniques

Educational qualification: Graduate with MBA preferred

Reporting to: The position reports into Business Head - Makaan.com
