Venture : Start-up at Ideation Stage
About Us :
- We are Pune based entrepreneurs managing four small enterprises, two of which are grossing annual revenues of over USD 1 mn. We are looking to invest and co-found another e-commerce services venture in the Creative and Graphic Design space along with a passionate entrepreneur who will assume the role of a CEO. More details regarding this venture shall be enclosed during the time of meeting.
Desired Profile of Candidates :
- Candidates should have an MBA degree from a Tier-1 Business School and an engineering degree from a premier institute such as IITs, BITs, NITs etc. Candidate should be male and below 30 years of age and genuinely passionate about Technology, Start-ups and Entrepreneurship.
- Candidates should be ready to sacrifice immediate benefits for potential great rewards over 4-5 years period. Candidates should have great leadership, communication skills with a creative flair, self-discipline & motivation. Candidate should be capable of single-handedly driving the business idea successfully.
Experience :
- The candidate should have a work experience of at least 4 years, preferably in technology start-up environments.
Responsibilities :
Vision :
- Develop the Brand and strategies to attract and retain customers, in sync with the co-founders- vision
- Ensure the vision & mission is relayed right through the entire organization
- Responsible for launch of the venture in a boot strapped manner
Product :
- Work life cycle will begin at the product development stage which would be required to be completed up to the highest standards of quality of UI /UX & launch in a time bound manner.
- Setting up Digital Marketing & PPC campaign, SEO traffic & optimizing social media campaign ensuring all channels of lead generation are activated & optimized.
- Supervising day to day work flow, activities, set & meet the highest standards of quality within the agreed client turnarounds.
Financial Management :
- Manage revenue, expenses and external financing to maintain the uninhibited growth of the Start up. A prerequisite is to effectively manage cash flow management and a solid metrics-driven corporate culture.
- Recommend yearly budget for board approval and prudently manage organization's resources within those budget guidelines according to current laws and regulations.
Team Building :
- Effectively manage the human resources of the organization according to authorized personnel policies and procedures that fully conform to current laws and regulations.
- Constantly monitor whether the right people have been assigned the right roles in the organization and ensure high levels of motivation through the organization.
Client Relationship :
- Cultivate client relationships to understand their business, expectations & needs
- Work with the business development & client servicing teams to develop and manage creative strategies & approach within the budget guidelines.
Compensation Package :
- Early stage start-up salary with a significant stake in the venture.
- Based on our recent track record & our current run-rate, we estimate that annual revenues should touch USD 1 million by 2020. This implies that annual remuneration could be up to Rs. 50 to 75 lakhs per annum within 5 to 7 years with the prospect of a figure even higher than this, subject to performance of the company.
