Purpose To focus on maintenance and reliability fundamentals by developing a system to build asset care strategies, manage risks, drastically change the culture from reactive to proactive, and fundamentals of maintenance schedule in the department (deep understanding of how the schedule was developed, where the maintenance plans came from, and how to improve them) Principle Accountabilities 1) Reliability Maintenance System Improvement: Should understand the - why- behind the work, it will be extremely important that the Maintenance Manager understand why work is performed, how it is developed, and drive a cultural change. Should be a good fit for a transformation leadership role. 2) Statutory compliance and Safety: Organize &amp; monitor implementation of safety procedures to maintain accident free working and compliance of statutory requirement. 3) Equipment Availability: Organize and monitor implementation activities for optimum plant availability of all equipment and machineries for Sand Plant, Float glass &amp; Mirror Line to meet the targeted production and satisfaction of internal customers. 4) Cost Control &amp; Optimization: Plan, monitor &amp; control the cost (spare, inventory, repairs &amp; manpower) of maintenance and optimize maintenance costs within the budget. 5) People Management: Build &amp; sustain a conducive work culture by effective management of people to improve productivity, growth and motivation levels of employees to institutionalize best organizing practices in the unit. 6) Project execution: Organize, coordinate &amp; monitor execution &amp; commissioning of small projects and major modifications works in time to achieve targeted results. 7) Continuous Improvement: Identify, coordinate &amp; monitor implementation of improvements, small projects to improve the availability and reduce cost of maintenance. Qualifications: Candidate should be full time Bachelor in engineering degree holder in Mechanical (MANDATORY) Experience: The candidate should have 12-18 years of plant maintenance management experience in organization having high levels of maintenance system in managerial role. Preferably from Manufacturing Industry / Continuous process Industry or Chemical Industry.
