Role Definition :  - To strategize and manage the processes of CT: Transportation into and from multiple Plants / DCs, control the end to end TAT and interim process TAT, operational deliverables management, exception management, lead and lag indicators management, and Information supply chain management.   - Build innovation in technology mapped transport solutions and enhance the Control Tower efficiencies for Performance Delivery  Functional Experience Requirements :   Knowledge :  - In-depth understanding of general supply chain and transport processes including engineering, contract management   - Thorough appreciation and expertise in 3PL Logistics and Distribution Service provision.   - Excellent knowledge of the verticals like Auto & Engg, FMCG, Bulk, E-Commerce, Healthcare, HVCG and Hi Tech.   - Excellent knowledge and comprehensive experience with current Control Tower technologies, optimization tools and demographic knowledge of India   - Excellent knowledge in costing & pricing with exposure to ROI, EBITDA, EVA, CAPEX methods   Skills :   - Forward thinkers with exceptional planning skills   - Excellent communication skills, both oral and written ( English )  - Attention to detail, strong problem solving skills and technological proficiency   - Good computer skills   - Must be a good team member and be able to motivate and inspire the best in others   Project Management : With a view of implementing Control Tower in all Transportation Deals  Profile :  - Forward Thinker with exceptional planning skills. Must have good written and oral commuication skills in English   - Good working knowledge of Windows operating system, MS Office 2013 ( Excel, word and Powerpoint must ) and Technology Proficiency  - Experience of working in Logistics / SCM industry for 5+ year in the area of Control Tower ( Tracking + Help Desk Management + Performance & MIS Management + Data Analytics + New Deal Implementation + Order management and operational planning )  - Must be a good team member and able to motivate and inspire the best in others   - Willing to work in shifts   - Experince of handling team size of 30 to 40 team members and 7+ Team Leads  - Proven Leadership Skills  Key Responsibilities & Acoountabilities :   - Leads the India strategy for CT with a strong focus on delivering improvement solutions that meet and exceed organization's expectations   - Manage and build the CT Team for meeting cross departmental requirements within Control Tower   - To comprehend and enhance supply chain processes by examining inefficiencies through the use of a variety of analytical and quantitative methods.   - Conducts customer interviews / reviews and ensure continuous improvement for all the queries / complaints logged on the Helpdesk  - Develops and evaluates alternative strategies with Lean Focus   - Develop and maintain detailed reports of findings and routinely report to company management, making recommendations as necessary.   - Ability to identify Delivery business challenges and translate them into requirements and solutions   - Familiarity with supply chain strategy, process improvement, and technology implementation  - Handling Customer, BA concerns and addressing it within defined timelines which are addressed to Control Tower  - Conducting data analysis and presenting the insights to management for continuous improvements in PQCDSMS Parameters  - Co-ordination with Stakeholders to drive output
