Responsibilities:

1. You will play a senior leadership role to drive company-wide business analytics, data-science and business-intelligence initiatives and work closely with C-level executives within the organization to run transformation projects on above.

2. You would own the data and data governance of Mahindra Logistics core IT products and partner with Service/Backend Engineers to integrate data provided by legacy IT solutions into your designed data-marts/data-lake, and make it accessible to the services consuming those data

3. You will be the product owner for the Mahindra Logistics core analytics product which will drive all transportation and warehousing insights and predictions across different lines of business.

4. You will lead the end-to-end cloud infrastructure of Mahindra logistics data-analytics and business intelligence and drive the cloud based machine-learning and data-lake architecture partnering with senior leaders from top technology companies (AWS/Azure/GCP)

5. You will closely work with business teams in the Enterprise Mobility segment to dive last-mile mobility solutions and data-science initiatives & partner with Mahindra group's central analytics leaders to drive the same.

6. You will lead the end-to-end business intelligence projects for our key customers and internal stake-holders & manage senior stake-holder expectations and adhere to development timelines.

7. You will lead the data-science team & collaborate with partners/internal IT product managers to create predictive modelling and prescriptive solutions for the business and integrate the same with the core analytics products.

Skills:

1. Overall, 8-10 years leadership experience in managing C level executives with at least 5-8 years of focused experience in leading analytics and data-science teams.

2. At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in developing Machine-learning, AI and operations optimizations solutions using the Python Data stack and machine learning frameworks (e.g. Numpy, Pandas, Dask, scikit-learn, mlr, caret, H2O, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Caffe,MLlib) is required

3. At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in driving cloud infrastructure for analytics either with GCP/AWS/Azure and running cluster computing transformations using Apache Spark/Hadoop/Hive.

4. At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in running Business intelligence solutions within large organization using PowerBI/Tableau/QlikSense etc.

5. Strong theoretical understanding of statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms and their mathematical underpinnings

6. Strong capabilities in SQL and experience working with databases and distributed data (MySQL, PostGreSQL, SQL Server, RedShift, SparkSQL, Hive, Pig)

7. Demonstrable experience in exploratory data analysis (Jupyter, D3, Tableau, RStudio), distributed data frameworks (Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Presto etc.), code review and version control tools, batch and streaming data pipeline orchestration (Airflow, Azkaban, Luigi, Kafka), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes etc.) and deployment (Jenkins) is required
