Mahindra Finance - Senior Manager - Sustainability

Job Purpose Statement:

Develop Deploy & Drive Sustainability practices and processes within the Organization.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Formulating Sustainability Report as per latest Sustainability Reporting or GRI guidelines/standards and managing its end to end process including content, design, assurance, GRI check and release.

- Preparation of the sites for assurance visits including conducting an internal assessment

- Create Business Responsibility Report (BRR) as per applicable guidelines and regulations

- Reporting on disclosures like Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) and Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP)

- Sustainability Project selection, coordination with consultant for implementation & monitoring

- Conceptualization, creation and tracking of Sustainability Calendar

- Applications writing for different Sustainability awards and represent organization at different forums and platforms.

- Content writing & publishing quarterly Sustainability & CSR newsletter

- MIS & Reporting for all Sustainability related initiatives and indicators

- Creating Sustainability Roadmap, getting it reviewed and coordinating & monitoring it continuously to drive actions

- Provide support on sustainability related information and requirement to different departments and for business requirements

- Alignment with Group Sustainability agendas and benchmarking in our sector to initiate and drive efforts on new practices in group/financial services sector

Key Challenges

- Co-ordination across scoped offices of Mahindra Finance

- Dissemination of the information pertaining to Sustainability from Corporate

- Ensuring accuracy of data collected for Green House Gas (GHG) emissions and Sustainability Report

- Capacity building for projects like CII ITC Sustainability Awards, Dow Jones Sustainability Index, Mahindra Group Sustainability Report

- Abreast with latest sustainability information and practices in financial services industry

- Cross functional alignment and team work
