Mahindra Finance - Head - Credit/Policy & Risk - Consumer Durable Loans

Job Purpose Statement:

Head the credit and risk department for digitally enabled retail lending products like - Consumer durable, Personal loans etc.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Oversee the design and implementation of new age underwriting and risk norms for lending products like - consumer durable finance, personal loans etc, offered digitally

- Serving as subject matter authority on financial and statistical markets model development and validation expertise

- Provide inputs for credit decision matrix and scorecard preparation

- Take the ownership of portfolio quality and performance & oversee metrics to monitor product health

- Develop Early warning signals for the Portfolio and regular tracking

- Deep understanding of Digital market and data variables availability

- Should have thorough understanding of the evolving practices for the management of credit risk and regulatory requirements in the industry

- Oversee innovative Dash boarding for effective real time data availability for credit performance and decision

- Provide inputs to develop business analytics for the credit portfolio to support strategy decisions

- Achieve high degree of automation in credit decision process required from a digital lending platform, leading to STP

- Co-ordinate effectively with vendor teams, collection team and internal product team to align the credit policy with product features envisioned

- Ensure that sound credit risk measurement and monitoring frameworks are developed and implemented for the digital lending platform.

- Oversee the information security function for the lending platform

- Develop risk management frameworks that incorporate the developing industry practices and regulatory requirements and be tailored to the organization's requirements

- Having an exceptional track record in delivery, stakeholder management and thought leadership, with strong quantitative and analytical background.
