Objective of the role : We work in the Micro-lending space offering various credit products to the unbanked population. The Product manager - PCG will be responsible for Implementing and managing multiple initiatives in East Africa markets. Skills : - 6+ years product experience, preferably in any of the following: consumer loans, personal finance, Micro finance, Priority Sector loans, emerging markets, Mobile Wallets - Proficient with the latest methods of product discovery and development - Develop Micro credit products across Retail and Merchant customer segments. - Understanding of Consumer behavior towards adoption of Consumer and Merchant loans in Micro loan segment - preferable exposure to African Markets. - Exposure to driving Market research - Ability to understand and develop multiple levers across customer lifecycle for Lifecycle management. - Experience in using multiple Marketing &amp; sales channels to drive business - Ability to drive Projects and manage the internal and external teams in driving project deliverables - Build Business models - Understanding of levers in driving a profitable portfolio - Demonstrated ability to use data to drive critical results - Ability to design simple and intuitive user interfaces - Appreciation of UI/UX design principles will be an advantage - Business rationale for enhancement and expansion of different product features and functionalities Roles and Responsibilities : - Understanding of the Customers in each market, their needs and other information which will drive product creation and the lifecycles - Ship product, deliver on KPIs and develop deep product expertise within a cross-functional team - Responsible for successful launch of product in each country - Establish Product-market fit &amp; work on the product constructs for the following : a. Microloans b. Savings c. Agent Loans d. Merchant Loans e. Checkout Finance - Responsible for creating customer lifecycles, customer flows &amp; customer communications - Support the Sales team in driving BD by creating propositions/Collaterals - Managing Implementation of Projects by driving Internal and external stakeholders - Work with the Clients in developing a GTM plan - Perform UAT of the credit products - Manage the Client relationship in Implementation Phase and ongoing with Banks and the Wallet/Operators - Track ongoing performance of Portals/Products/Customers - Portfolio tracking - Working with Portfolio Management Team, Risk Team, Banks and Clients for delivering optimal business results - Own the customer experience across Product/ Communication - Grow all markets along acquisition, activation and retention KPIs - Develop a strong understanding of in-country context, user needs, and competitive landscape - Travel required
