- Pro actively identify and suggest areas of improvements and changes
- Drive performance and compensation management systems within the defined timelines and budgets
- Work with other sub-domain teams within HR to provide one HR interface to employees, managers and business leaders
- Work on enhancing the effectiveness of existing HR processes and systems
- Identify critical positions and develop individualized career and succession plans
- Pro actively work with the unit/function heads for any specific need/issues which they may have
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies and decrease cost
- Work with the business leaders and managers to come up with alternate models which bring variability of effort - with a special focus on identifying opportunities for outsourcing at service level
- Work on identifying training and development needs for the assigned groups
- Work with the L&D team and address such needs
- Drive employee engagement and related activities
- Enhance understanding of HR policies and processes, conduct sessions, trainings and audits for the same
- Ensure compliance to all HR policies and processes for the assigned units
- Work on middle management development initiatives as may be undertaken from time to time
- Identify and report trends in unit/function specific HR MIS data
- Work with business heads and managers on planning the budgets (compensation, manpower, etc.), periodically reviewing utilization and taking due corrective action as and when required
- Balance the business expectations vis-a-vis the HR needs of the Company
