Co-Founder - Mahikul Trust & Conservation Centre

Founded by Mohit Garg, a McKinsey & Company alumnus, Mahikul Trust aims to develop an excellence centre to fight climate change. Based on the principles of VZL = Veganism, zero waste and local, less, the trust will work in the areas of conservation and sustainable livelihoods.

Responsibilities :

- Help with land search, infra development of Mahikul Conservation Centre

- Help with business plan development and formation of Mahikul Trust

- Marketing and fund raising for the Trust

- Take up area among conservation or livelihoods

Requirements for the co-Founder :

- Strongly believes that climate change is real and that the leading causes are animal farming, transportation, energy production and plastic

- Have a love forests and would like to spend life in forest conservation or working with communities at grass roots level

- Should have 8+ years of experience in leading projects, initiatives requiring planning, strategy and execution with some experience in the social sector

- Lives or willing to live a vegan, zero plastic lifestyle

- Willing to relocate to live and work full time in Kotabagh, Uttarakhand, by March 2021

- Should be able to bring in a funding of at least INR 20,00,000 (20 lacs) and put it as the paid-up capital in the Company or Trust that we will form
