We are formally launching the Valuations business within MB. Like most of you already know that we have a strong Propworth product which is focused on the B2C space and currently on a free roll out for customers.   - What we discovered by doing some market research with banks is that a valuation support process is the need of the hour.  - Due to constraints of robust data and mechanisms, banks currently struggle on getting the correct valuations for properties before dispersing home loans. Banks need to correctly evaluate the value of the property before giving loans, else they run the risk of under-recovery.   - A player such as MB naturally fits in with the varied amount of data we have from the site, ground teams and landlords etc. Finally data backed by a strong technology process, is what the banks are gunning for.   - Overall current outstanding loans is in the tune of Rs. 11 trillion. At an average loan ticket of 20 lakhs, you are taking about 5 Mn active home loans in the market.  - The numbers are very large, and there is an opportunity for a player like us to enter a market which suffers from lack of data, structuring and technology play.
