Business Analyst
Business Analytics :
- Traffic, conversions analytics on GA using R and Excel
- Sales analytics and providing meaningful insights on pricing, average ticket size, new product and city-wise opportunities
Planning and project management of key projects (product, sales, marketing and support functions) :- Identifying projects which are needle movers for the business across all functions and providing meaningful inputs for its target setting and desired outcomes
- Conducting weekly review meetings to understand the inter-department bottlenecks which are preventing the projects from achieving the desired outcomes
- Wearing the hat of program manager to overcome all business problems and provide meaningful solutions to drive the projects towards their intended outcomes
- Preparing CEO level summaries for all high level projects and raising red flags for non-performing projects in a timely manner
Developing Strong Market and Competitive Intelligence :- Analysis of competitive activity across important parameters like revenue, traffic, leads and other major corporate announcements
- Quarterly analysis of balance sheets, Profit and loss statements for listed entities within the industry and providing a summary of meaningful insights to the top management
- Keeping a sharp eye on all major news, new business practices and models developing both domestically/globally and providing recommendations to the top management
Identifying fault-lines within the systems and processes :- Independent audit and assessment of products and services offered by the company
- Scanning of customer complaints to find any patterns and trends which are genuinely causing low satisfaction and hence an opportunity to improve
- Social listening to understand how users are perceiving our brand and recommending solutions to improve the same
Business Review and Corporate Communications :- Monthly and quarterly business review decks for top management which are crisp and insightful
- Driving AOPs along-with the function heads and re-visiting the plans, executions strategies to make sure that things are on track
- Composing communication for external stakeholders as and when required
Technical Competencies Required :- Expert in Excel and PowerPoint
- Basic knowledge of R, SQL
- Basic knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Adwords and CRM software
