Magic Bus India Foundation, founded in 1999 by Matthew Spacie, stands among the top five NGOs in India dedicated to education and skill development. Our organisation equips adolescents and young individuals with essential life skills and knowledge to thrive during the transition from childhood to livelihood.

Our mission is to create a world where young people break free from poverty, leading fulfilling and rewarding lives while making positive contributions to their communities. We achieve this by enabling adolescents to complete their secondary education, providing them with the necessary skills for employment, and connecting them to job market opportunities. Our target age group ranges from 12 to 24 years.

We operate two flagship programs: the Adolescent Programme and the Livelihood Programme.

1. In our Adolescent Programme, we prioritise the instillation of life skills and the enhancement of education. Through our network of 2,770 connected schools operating in 72 districts across 24 states, we have positively impacted the lives of over 1 million adolescents, with an impressive 51% participation rate of girls.

2. The Livelihood Programme focuses on enhancing employability by providing specialised skills training and connecting young individuals to sustainable livelihood opportunities. Through our 95 Livelihood Centres and 825 Colleges, we offer sector-specific training, job placements, and post-placement support. This programme, operational in 13 states, has achieved an impressive 56% participation rate among girls and has successfully facilitated the placement of 2,02,429 youths to date.

Job Profile:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled senior resource for Payroll, Employee Benefits, HRMS Management, Incentive and Travel Allowance Payments, HR Audits, Performance Appraisal, Increment Calculation, and Statutory Compliance to join our team.

Payroll Management:

- Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, including data collection, calculations, and disbursements.

- Coordinate with Regional HR on Joining & Exit documents for Full & Final documents for Pan India

- Ensure payroll accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements, including taxation, PF, ESIC, and other relevant regulations.

- Administer travel allowance payments for eligible employees.

- Ensure accurate calculation and timely disbursement of incentives and travel allowances.

- Implement and maintain payroll policies and procedures to streamline operations and reduce errors.

- Resolve payroll discrepancies and inquiries promptly and professionally

Employee Benefit Administration:

- Manage and administer all employee benefit programs, including health insurance and other perks.

- Stay updated on changes in labour laws and regulations related to employee benefits and ensure compliance.

- Collaborate with external vendors and providers to optimize benefit offerings.

- Educate employees on available benefits and assist them with benefit-related queries.

HRMS Management:

- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the HRMS platform, ensuring data accuracy and system integrity.

- Collaborate with IT and HR teams to enhance and customize HRMS features to meet organizational needs.

- Train HR staff and end-users on HRMS functionalities.

- Troubleshoot and resolve HRMS-related issues.

HR Audits:

- Plan and conduct HR audits to ensure compliance with company policies, statutory regulations, and legal requirements.

- Implement corrective actions based on audit findings and recommendations.

- Stay up-to-date with HR regulatory changes to ensure audit readiness.

Performance Appraisal and Increment Calculation

- Coordinate the annual performance appraisal cycle, working with functional heads and managers.

- Collaborate with HR and management to establish performance evaluation criteria.

- Calculate and facilitate the annual salary increment process.

Statutory Compliances:

- Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, including PF, ESIC, and other relevant labor laws and regulations.

- Stay updated on changes in statutory requirements and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance.

Preferred Work Experience and Education Background

- Proven working experience of 12 - 15 years in payroll, employee benefit, HR automation and compliances

- Bachelor's /Masters degree in HR/ accounting

- Knowledge of HR systems and databases

- Strong in Microsoft office and excellent with excel functioning with advance level

- Should be able to work with deadlines and multitasking is must

- People Oriented and results driven

- Good Communication skill
