Regional Manager - Monitoring & Evaluation - Magic Bus is committed to using data to improve programme efficiency and effectiveness. To this end, the organization has an independent Impact vertical that is accountable for the measurement of results, and several technical partners who help ensure objective and rigorous evaluations - You will lead and enable evaluations contributing to review of programmes and establishing proof of concept of the Magic Bus programme both in the Life Skills and Livelihood space. In doing so, you will enable strengthening of the programme and improved impact of the organization. You will leverage the use of data for reporting, fundraising and accountability both internally and externally. Role : - Assist and contribute in designing and execution of in house research studies, - Develop system for analysis of the data available from the State offices on different programmes - Establish an efficient MIS system for the different projects and train the project staff in the implementation and maintenance of MIS system. - Validate the quality of all data for completeness, consistency and correctness and make changes in MIS if required. - Develop Log frame and MEL plan for the new projects - Work towards developing a shared database for M&E tracking. - Coordinate and help implement mid-term and final M&E assessments and analysis in close coordination with different programme implementation teams - Manage projects and partnerships both internal and external evaluation agencies. - Assist and participate in creation of lessons learned and project reports - Develop a system for collection and maintenance of background information and documents useful for the programmes - Work closely with the National & State Head and the District Coordinators for developing M&E tool,frame work, design and data collection and analysis - Monitor implementation of project activities and work closely with the partners to ensure timely roll outof M&E framework at state levels - Guide programme partners to increase the effectiveness of programmes - Report regularly on the status of programmes and major events EXPERIENCE AND SKILL SETS : - Minimum 4 to Maximum 8 years' experience with managing M&E for the organization - Good knowledge of M&E methodologies having experience of designing and developing research analysis and protocols, impact assessment, tools, log frame, monitoring and evaluation of programs/projects in public and private sector - Proven ability to use app based data collection tools to monitor and evaluate program - Good knowledge on Advanced Excel - Proven ability to write high quality narrative reports based on quantitative and qualitative results - Proven ability to mentor and facilitate learning among team members - Proven ability to manage complex internal and external relationships QUALIFICATION : - Master in Social Sciences / Rural Management / Economics ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS : - Willing to undertake extensive travel - Excellent interpersonal & communication skills and should be passionate about your work. - Ability to interact with a wide range of people - Possess good command over spoken and written English - Excellent knowledge of market research and ability to analyze its trends using software - Excellent skills in organizational representation
