Magic Bus - Manager/Senior Manager - Talent Acquisition (8-12 yrs) Premium

Purpose:

- Provide leadership and direction to the Talent Acquisition function, ensuring quality of Recruitment for mid-level to senior level roles in the organization

- Business HR for retail fundraising team, and ensure that HR strategy fits into the organization's overall business strategy for this vertical

- Fostering an environment where competent and committed people are on-boarded leading to building performance culture across the organization

- Build employer branding

Reporting: Director HR

Staff Reporting: Executive - Talent Acquisition

Responsibilities:

A) Recruitment :

- Independently handle recruitment for Mid & Senior management levels with highest level of efficiency

- Institutionalizing the right selection process across the organization

- Build a database / pipeline of good quality talent for mid to senior level roles

- Manage recruitment consultants to provide support when recruitment demands are high or to meet specialized recruitment needs

- Oversee and manage internal and external position postings, employee referral programs, including targeting specialized sites like LinkedIn, Naukri, IIM jobs ensuring broad visibility and securing responses from diverse candidates

- Efficient onboarding of new employees and orient them to the organizational objectives and respective roles

B) Capability Building :

- Design and implement Recruitment strategy which includes the right mix of growing internal talents as well as finding talents from outside

- Ensure Compensation at senior and mid-levels is constantly benchmarked against in the sector

- Ensure regular employee connect to understand the pulse of the Retail team

- Weekly recruitment status reports, develop and track effective recruitment metrics

- Monthly submission of assigned reports

C) Support Employer Branding :

- Internal communication to cement and strengthen our brand value

- Stay engaged with alumni

- Represent Magic Bus at key external forums and network groups

- Position Magic Bus as an empowered and enriching workplace in social media

D) Desired Competencies:

- Proven track record of success in a recruiting role, having had responsibility for screening, interviewing and hiring for multiple positions concurrently

- Aptitude to recruit for a broad and deep range of positions

- Sound knowledge of recruitment tools and strategies, hands on experience with posting jobs on social media and job boards

- Good communication skills including the ability to liaise across all levels in the organization

- Strategic thinker, problem-solving skills / solution orientation

- Team player, Good time-management skills

- Adaptable and able to manage change

- Excellent MS Office skills will be an advantage

- Business Acumen: Seeks knowledge of external conditions

Qualification & Work experience :

- Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience with at least 2-3 years in leadership hiring in the NGO space

- Experience of managing business partner role for about 2 years with a sales driven organization

- Experience in a similar role in NGOs would be preferred.
