This role is part of the Country Tax Centre for India based out of Mumbai. This team will be taking care of all tax related activities including compliance, statutory requirements and tax management across the APMM Business Units present in India.   We Offer   We offer you the opportunity to work in an international environment alongside talented colleagues. Moller - Maersk Group is globally engaged in different industries and subject to oil, shipping and standard tax regimes.   As part of the India Country Tax Centre Tax the incumbent will work closely with colleagues from Finance Departments of Maersk Line, APM Terminals, Damco and other group companies. You will gain insight and broad knowledge of the Group activities in India.   Key Responsibilities   Responsible for all day to day work for all Indian group companies, including:  Preparation and documentation of mainstream corporation tax and indirect tax returns  Calculating and arranging quarterly installment payments to Indian tax authorities  Preparation of deferred and current tax provisions for statutory accounts under both IAS 12 and FRS 19  Internal quarterly/annual tax reporting (as required)  Dealing with sundry internal queries e.g. ledger postings, clarification and calculation of the tax treatment of vessel disposals and additions, vessel movements in and out of INC waters, etc.  Will also be assisting in the management of employee tax in relation to both local issues as well as issues related to expatriates.  Key Performance Indicators:  - Meeting statutory and internal deadlines with minimal managerial input  - Keeping customers happy  Learning description of the role:  - Keeping up to date with tax law and practice  - Develop interpersonal skills   - Develop knowledge of APMM industries.  Who we are looking for   Chartered Accountant with 1-2 years of experience in taxation. Incumbent with a high drive for results, good analytical and problem solving skills.   Technical skills:  - Knowledge of Indian corporation tax.   - Knowledge of Indian HR/employee tax  - Good knowledge of MS excel .  - Excellent written and spoken English.  Soft skills:  Time management, good communicator, self motivated, detail oriented.
