Roles and Responsibilities : The candidate will support the Supply Chain Manager in leading a team of buyers, while handling the procure to pay (P2P) flow for several globally trading vessels. You will be responsible for the daily management of the team, making sure that processes are followed and that the team operates as smoothly as possible. Additional Responsibilities include: &nbsp; - Being the subject matter expert in all purchasing matters, ensuring that best practices are followed - Responsible as a process owner and custodian of the supply chain processes, looking to optimize and automize the current process - Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders such as Category Management and our third-party logistics provider, to maximize savings, guarantee quality and ensure that operative needs are constantly met in a timely manner - Via proactive interaction with our closest stakeholders, identify potential problems and remedy them - Manage projects spanning the entire supply chain Desired Candidate Profile : An ideal candidate should have a bachelors degree/diploma in supply chain or another relevant field with 8 to 10 years- experience in supply chain as a buyer with a solid understanding of global logistics Added abilities include : - Prior project management experience is mandatory - Structured with a lean working approach - Good Management skills - Good English communication skills, both written and verbal - Effective stakeholder management skills - Result Oriented and KPI driven
