Portfolio Manager (GDA O&L Portfolio Management) Reports to: GDA O&L Lead Location: Bangalore A.P. The Portfolio Manager will fully organize the O&L (Oceans & Logistics) GDA portfolio on behalf of the Product Delivery Lead. They will own and manage the full schedule of portfolio meetings, create, own, and manage the change, risk, actions, assumptions, issues, and dependencies log, gather necessary resources, and manage effective and regular communications with members of the GDA O&L LT and the wider team, ensuring tasks are completed in time. They will also have full ownership of several roadmaps, dashboards, and document repositories belonging to the portfolio, The goal is effective support to ensure the portfolio's successful operation. Responsibilities : - Responsible for tracking progress and managing visibility of the initiatives under strategic priorities in the Ocean & Logistics (O&L) GDA portfolio; to the executive leadership. - Ownership of all O&L GDA leadership meetings including recording decisions (e.g., next steps, expected outcomes and actions, etc.) - Drive alignment between strategy objectives/priorities and product roadmaps. - Track roadmap progress against the plan across the portfolio. - Creating and updating workflows, roadmaps, creation, and presentations. - Create awareness to GDA O&L products by coordinating product demos and taking ownership of their effectiveness, visibility & continuity. - Draft inputs to progress reporting involving the GDA LT, key stakeholders and internal teams. - Measuring and reporting the change, risks, actions, assumptions, issues, and dependencies. - Responsible for content strategy and details for Town Halls, Leadership offsites, Executive briefings etc. - Foster continuous improvement methodologies in day-to-day cross-portfolio engagement activities. - Partner with O&L Product leadership and other GDA Portfolio Managers, serving as a strategic business partner to support the execution of Maersk's data-first digital transformation. What you bring ? - 7-15 years of Management Consulting / Strategy / Program Management experience in Technology or a similar domain - Exemplary communication skills with professional writing skills that demonstrate clarity of thought and precision. - Interest in technology &strong insights and understanding of technology concepts and processes (cloud, operational excellence principles etc) is a plus. - Highly data driven, analytical with strong attention to detail. - Strong people orientation, someone who can intelligently craft engaging material for executive leadership, prepare presentations for board level meetings, and support senior leaders, partners and thought leaders across the business. - Expert level proficiency with MS Office and related productivity suite. - Exceptional written, verbal, creative, visual storytelling, and presentation skills with great level of detail orientation. - Ability to drive governance and actions on multiple workstream simultaneously in an organized fashion, working efficiently with a global team of colleagues. - Ability to establish partnerships with senior stakeholders, consistently exercising discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information whilst navigating a complex stakeholder environment and a wide range of needs. - You are not afraid to get your hands dirty and dive in - in fact you like to! Ability to build a strong internal network, business acumen. - Exceptional stakeholder, time-management and organizational skills with the ability to lead with or without formal authority. - Positive and professional approach to work, demonstrated ability to work calmly in tight timelines, ability to solicit feedback, incorporate it quickly and maintain good business acumen in a fast-paced environment. - Self-driven with a positive outlook, friendly and approachable with bias towards driving actions.
