The Group employs about 89,000 people in around 135 countries across the world.   We Offer :   A challenging role heading the sales organization for Maersk Line leading a sales team across two locations in East India.   Key Responsibilities:   Nature and Scope:-  - Ability to lead large account teams and to help secure business with Indian or foreign multinationals  - Be seen to be a driving force in assisting the Emerging Stars program  - Lead with regards to the hinterland push  - Delivering budgets (revenue and volume )  - Vessel utilization in line with targets  - Increase sales performance (efficiency & effectiveness)  - Optimize cost of sales  - Increase customer & employee satisfaction  Major Accountabilities:  - Accountable for budget performance - volume and revenue  - Discuss and agree to revenue and volume budgets for ML in region  - Define sales strategy & commercial priorities for the region  - Ensure sales effectiveness & efficiency  - Review & coach for top sales performance  - Sales channel management & optimization  - Conduct market monitoring  - Handle customer communication  - Oversee Customer Satisfaction Surveys  - Manage customer segmentation  - Track & analyze market development  Essential Job Tasks:  - Sales Pipeline management & forecasting through Salesforce  - Ensure that local - Price Coordination - is well managed  - Implement, run and improve incentive programs  - Management of local cost of sales  - Resource selection, development & succession  - Revenue opportunity reviews  Who we are looking for:   - The ideal candidate will be a person with who has strong business, market & customer understanding.  - A person with experience in general management - and sales management specifically. An individual, who is decisive, has a sense of urgency and result orientation - thereby delivering objectives and increasing sales & yield performance.  - A leader that inspires, motivates, coaches, communicates & collaborates - thereby driving the necessary changes in process, organization and customer satisfaction.  - Proven general management and/or sales management experience - preferably within transportation industry.  - Demonstrated results - performance, leadership and organizational wise.  - Experience from various markets / countries  - Known & recognized for living Maersk values and cultural amplifiers  - Education: Masters degree in Management preferred.
