Regional People Partner Manager, India - Regional People Partnering Organization

- The HR organization of the Future will work across brands, geographies and cultures to support one global Maersk. Next to the Centres of Expertise and the Strategic Business Partners, the People Partnering Organization is the largest part of the new HR organization and the closest to our people. To enable our future HR service delivery model we are establishing three People Partnering Hubs covering geographical regions: Bangalore, India, covering Asia Pacific; Lisbon, Portugal, covering Europe & Africa; and San Jose, Costa Rica, covering the Americas.

- We are looking for a People Partner Leader for India, to facilitate the transition of the HR organization into the new People Partnering model at Maersk and build a highly professional and engaged team of People Partners in the India region. After go-live in Q1 2022 you will be responsible for the designated area and will lead a team of People Partners based in different cities across India.

About the position and what we offer:

- You will play a key part in our journey towards establishing the new brand-agnostic service delivery model with focus on providing great and consistent employee experience to our employees, no matter where they are. Driving the implementation of the new HR organization and embedding the change will require you to role model the new ways of working in our HR community every day. 


- You will inspire and lead the team, steering colleagues through change and towards our end goal. You will proactively - connect the dots, articulate needs on the go and create plans and strategies to address them. Having a strong focus on keeping the momentum and engagement around the HR transformation will be critical in this role and you will achieve this through continuously engaging with diverse stakeholders at senior levels in HR and other functions.

- This is an exciting and challenging opportunity where you can take ownership and draw your path in a complex and fast-paced environment. You will stretch your capabilities learning from, sparring and building lasting relationships with diverse and professional colleagues all over the world.

- Once we go live with the new model in Q1 2022 we will shift gears from implementation mode to steady state service delivery and you will be responsible for a specific geographic area leading a team of People Partners from a specific geographical area.

Key responsibilities :

- Leading up to the global go-live of the new model in Q1 2022, you will be involved in various program implementation activities together with the rest of the people team. 


- You will support and coordinate with the assigned country groups, engage with key stakeholders to ensure momentum and prioritization of work during the go-live preparation as well as drive the design of local/regional solutions as part of localization and fit-gap activities. Your main goal will be to ensure that we have a fit-for purpose regional setup in place and the team is ready to deliver high quality service and great employee experience as of go-live.

- Consistently drive and deliver high quality and integrated People Partnering within the region to ensure great employee experience

- Provide leadership to the People Partner team in the region, creating and maintaining an environment where employees are highly engaged, proud of their work and have a strong sense of purpose

- Ensure key stakeholder engagement and a high degree of satisfaction in the region

- Ensure implementation of the new regional People Partner team structure in line with the agreed timescales and resource plan

- Translate the global HR Service delivery model into a regional and brand-agnostic implementation plan and regional resource plan

- Implement the people strategy within the region in alignment with HR Business Partners and in close collaboration with respective Heads of Delivery in the region

- Ensure best practice sharing within the region and with global peers to continuously improve the effectiveness and efficiency of delivery as well as employee experience

- Continually review People Partner capabilities and resource levels in line with business demand and as the new operating model and technology adoption mature

- Uphold the Maersk brand and values and business knowledge within the PPO team.

As for the skillset and experience, we are looking for:

- 14+ years of HR generalist international experience in roles with increasing complexity and scope, and solid understanding of HR fundamentals

- People leadership experience: Be a natural leader and be passionate about driving team engagement

- Passionate about the business and partnering with leaders to deliver on business results

- Experience in implementing new initiatives and rolling out new ways of working

- Experience in leading teams in large international organizations

- Ability tonavigate complex stakeholder matrix and influencing senior leaders on a range of business / people issues

- Flexibility and adaptability to operate in a fast-paced, developing project environment, taking ownership and setting directions with minimal guidance

- Resilience: the change process, is anything but straightforward; accepting uncertainty and bouncing back from setbacks while keeping your enthusiasm is a tall order, but we need it

- Be self-driven, energetic, and have a - can-do- mindset

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
