Reports to: Regional T&D Head

The HR organization of the Future will work across brands, geographies and cultures to support one global Maersk. Next to the Centres of Expertise and the Strategic Business Partners, the People Partnering Organization is the largest part of the new HR organization and the closest to our people. To enable our future HR service delivery model we are establishing three People Partnering Hubs covering geographical regions: Bangalore, India, covering Asia Pacific; Lisbon, Portugal, covering Europe & Africa; and San Jose, Costa Rica, covering the Americas.

We are looking for a T&D Deployment Manager who will lead a team of T&D Associates across the APAC Region providing logistical and administrative support to the organisation in the deployment of Maersk global talent and development activities to all business units within the Group. Works within the Maersk T&D philosophy to ensure great employee experience overseeing coordination of on site or virtual learning programmes

Leadership responsibilities:

- Directly leads the team of full time Talent Associates across the APAC Region.

- Drives the engagement and development of this Team.

- Embraces the diversity of the team and succession plans

- Collaborates with key stakeholders within the business, other PPO's and within the APAC PPO

Talent & Development Responsibilities:

- Ensures the timely and quality delivery of all Global COE learning programs and events globally providing strong administrative and logistical support

- Ensures each BU within the Region maintains meticulous administration of the agreed operational learning programs.

- Provides insights, highlights risk, presents opportunities to the T&D Head and other community stakeholders

- Acts as a conduit of information towards the T&D associates and vice versa gives feedback on the performance of the T&D Function globally.

- Works closely with the T&D Specialists globally and within the APAC Region to deploy their products and communications through the Talent Associates.

- Owns the regional vendor relationships ensuring that the Maersk procurement policies are followed and seeks opportunities to reduce costs whilst maintaining quality learning experiences.

- Oversees record keeping of vendors and may negotiate or problem solve as necessary

- Is involved with annual planning within the T&D Function and stakeholder management across the PPO, HRBP's and COE's.

- Is responsible for performance management of the Admin function including managing metrics and KPIs, reporting towards the T&D PPO, COEs and HRIT

As for skillset and experience, we are looking for:

- Proven leadership skills

- Desire to add value to the business in a specialist role, providing knowledge and expertise

- Atleast 4 + years of demonstrated experience providing administration and logistics support for learning programs across various geographies

- Results driven and customer centric

- Contemporary experience within Talent, Development and Learning

- Organized, detail oriented, autonomous and collaborative, able to handle multiple priorities

- Experience working in a best practice environment with an agile mindset would be advantageous.

- Strong English written and oral communication skills, and ability to communicate technical issues in relatable terms
