Purpose/Summary :
- Lead a team of experienced SCD Analysts to provide support to Supply Chain Development Teams globally making use of world class tools and working for global customers through knowledge based work including, but not limited to:
- Supply Chain Network Modelling/Optimization and consolidation
- Inventory analysis and optimization
- International Supply Chain Solutions
- Financial and Operational benchmarking
- Basic Supply Chain analytic projects
- Supply Chain Carbon/CO2 Reporting
Key Responsibilities :
- Key responsibilities would be to increase the quality of various projects, enhance skills sets, and improve engagement and support to increase/improve bottom line impact
- Be the link to the center SCD team team to Create, Develop and Manage Comprehensive Quality mechanism to deliver high quality projects along with identifying inefficiencies in the process
- Liaise with the Center and Regional SCD teams of Damco to analyse Damco's clients- supply chain
- Support Global SCD team on various aspects relating to growing and retaining existing and new accounts as well as securing the differentiating value of the Supply Chain Development product portfolio.
- Manage Supply Chain Development Analysts team to deliver high quality projects to the customer.
- Interact with the SCD global community to work on global projects/customers, learn about new projects and initiatives to assist your regional target customers
- Analyse end-to-end supply chain of Damco's Clients for potential cost saving opportunity
- Perform other position related duties as specified by management
- Assist the direct Manager with various process improvement initiatives
Position Specifications :
- Proven track record in project management
- Bachelor's degree in for example Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Science or any other similar discipline
- Education/Knowledge/Experience in Logistics
- Fluent in English, oral and written
- Experience with offshore tasks or working with a remote team
- Experience in performing statistical analysis and data modeling
- Persuasive personality and ability to connect with stakeholders.
- Relevant Work experience of 6 to 8 years
