Maersk Line - Finance Business Partner

Key Finance role in India Cluster front office spearheading business proximity of the function. The position reports to the Cluster Head and is a high-impact role for the Trade & Marketing function.

Key Responsibilities

Nature & Scope:

- To actively support business by creating valuable insight into financial performance and enabling better decisions.

- Provide timely and accurate financial analysis of liner business performance to Cluster Management including Trade & Marketing

- Constructively challenge the local business decisions and propose improvements for the benefit of Cluster contribution.

- Support monthly Cluster reviews of Maersk Line profitability & drive identification of local opportunities to improve profitability

- Assist Cluster Leadership to drive performance culture within the organisation through active participation in devising and updating Cluster and functional Scorecards

- Assist Cluster Leadership in presenting Cluster performance to Centre / WCA.

Experience :

- Masters degree, preferably a CA / MBA Finance.

- Relevant cross functional work experience upwards of 6 years.

- Good knowledge and understanding of Global process maps and various IT reporting platforms.

- Ability to confront and challenge, without being adversarial and overbearing
