Key responsibilities You will be part of the Container Category Management team focusing on the Global Equipment Maintenance and Repair (EMR) Spend: - Identification of Cost saving opportunities, planning and on-time execution of Sourcing projects - Participation in Global or regional category projects and develop strategy towards negotiations - Working with Regional liner organization stakeholders, global equipment stakeholders and Suppliers - Establish Category Management functions such as Contract Management, Supplier Relationship Framework and Business Intelligence - Continually capture learning's from various EMR projects to ensure they are leveraged in future projects - Influence sourcing and contract management process We are looking for The ideal candidate has a strong self-drive and is able to deliver results both independently and as part of a team. Other required skills include: - (3+ years of) experience within Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations or Consulting with good commercial understanding, strong project management as well as negotiation skills - Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal - Stakeholder management skills and sufficient technical insight and willingness to learn to engage professionally and constructively - Self-driven with the ability to envision, prioritize and execute projects in a time bound manner - Analytical ability, eye for detail and problem-solving acumen with the ability to make sound, fact-based decisions. Proficiency in MS Excel and Power point is required - Minimum qualification of a Bachelor's degree and an MBA/PG/PG Diploma would we be added advantage
