Key responsibilities :

Managing the procurement projects (third party CFS for consolidation and deconsolidation services including value added services like surveyors, haulages, scanning, QC, etc.) and the core day to day procurement activities such as contracting, preparing and performing negotiations, supplier management, analysing spend to identify opportunities and drive procurement savings at the self-managed site(s) you are responsible for

- Owning the cost agenda and performing your responsibilities using our global procurement processes and tools, and assume responsibility of the controls posture of the Procurement processes in the site(s) you support

- Leading negotiations and coordinating service level agreements between Maersk and its suppliers

- Integrating Contract Management frameworks to help ensure cost leadership, compliance and best in class supplier performance

- Independently and as part of a team, successfully complete assigned tasks with excellent result while meeting agreed deadlines

- Managing internal & external stakeholders efficiently

- Driving Supplier Relationship Management including performance management on tactical level

- Performing supplier market analysis and organising market intelligence and driving insights from this to procurement and business functions

- Cooperating closely with colleagues within the Area, Region and Global functions

- Traveling to the site(s) and supplier locations within IBS are as per business requirements

We are looking for:

At least 4-5 years of relevant track record in Contract Logistics (third party CFS services), supply chain management, shipping and logistics and project management

- At least 2-3 years of relevant procurement experience in Procurement

- A good understanding of processes within purchasing and contracting and also experience in implementing them

- Good understanding of market and supplier network

- Accomplished project management skills to drive sourcing projects

- Efficient negotiation skills

- Willingness to work in a fast paced and often ambiguous environment

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and competent presentation skills

- A Degree in a Business/Supply Chain Management or a related field

- Languages: English mandatory; Hindi an advantage
