Maersk - Business Controller

We offer

To be the anchor of the finance team as a business controller and drive key activities around job costing, auditing, and governance and work closely with the Fin operations team to improve performance on a regular basis and be the project manager end to end

Key responsibilities

Job Costing :-

- Driving Profitability & Margin analysis

- Job Costing Review and Sign off on continuous basis along with ensuring timeliness.

- Monitoring and resolution of Revenue (MODS vs FACT) & Cost (SOA recon) Leakage.

- Minimizing and controlling the manual accruals and at the same time reducing the prior period impact.

- Driving and monitoring Customer & Product profitability including margin analysis.

- Review GP of jobs

- Weekly & Monthly GP review including margin Analysis

KPI and Process Governance:-

- Regular monitoring of FIN and CX (Customer Service) outcome KPI's and working closely working with FINOPS and FIN team to improve the performance via COO Dashboards.

RICC & Audit findings:-

- Ensure RICC (Revenue Related Internal Controls) control guidelines for various process are followed and drive to improve the RICC effectiveness score in close partnership with FIN and CX teams.

- Timely Resolution of RICC audit findings and support auditor to complete yearly statutory audit.

- Audit findings in close coordination with CX and BPO (Business Process Owner)/SME teams.

- Balance Sheet(B/S) positions and aged items along with External, Inter Company Billing (ICB) and Payable (ICP)management :-

- Minimize the exposure related to operational accruals/unbilled/claims/ICB disputes.

- Drive related actions with close coordination with area finance controllers.

- Drive and minimize ICB & ICP exposure in close cooperation with FINOPS and GSC centralized teams.

- Projects Management and Governance

We are looking for

- MBA Finance/CA/ICWA

- Minimum 7- 10 years' experience as a Business controller

- Possess strong domain knowledge and systems knowledge

- Proven ability to influence without authority and engage confidently with leaders at all levels

- Possess strong data analytics skills and knowledge of advanced data analytical tools will be an advantage

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Have the ability to work under pressure - stringent deadlines and tough client conditions that may demand extended working hours. Ability to work well in teams

- Should be able to drive projects / process improvements
