Purpose/Summary :
This position will assist the BCP Manager in implementation, maintenance and governance of BCM framework. The person will oversee the governance of the framework including monitoring and auditing activities. Also the person will need to perform Site and Process Risk Assessment as part of BCM Audits. The person will need to document the reports and minutes of high level meetings. Also this person will play role in IT Disaster Recovery planning. The person will also need to be part of the Global team implementing Business Continuity across Maersk Line offices.
Key Responsibilities: Include how the colleague is going to be measured-
- Coordinate Business Impact Analysis (BIA) exercise with the Process BCP Managers/Focals and make sure that all the processes have reviewed / completed the BIA and appropriate recovery strategies are implemented and documented.
- Work with BCP Manager on BCP manuals / Policy / other documents review and maintenance.
- Coordinate with Site and Process BCM Managers and take the BCM readiness / preparedness status at each site and process.
- Coordinate with LMS team in the BCM awareness training programs. Coordinate with various stakeholders to rollout the BCM awareness program.
- BCM team site (portal) maintenance, updating (as required).
- Audit the BCM plans and assess the contingency readiness in the GSC process level and site level.
- Coordinate BCP tests and BCP audits on processes and site infrastructure to assess the compliance
- Ensure contingency plans and test schedules are established for identified critical activities of GSC activities which include :
- Recovery Strategy documentation
- Contingency and related documents (post contingency reports, contacts, etc.)
- Measurements of contingency plan effectiveness
- IT related and local administrative requirements
- Lead and coordinate with Site and Process BCP Managers/Focals on contingency plans and testing
- Monitor the alerts /news and ensure communications are in place for advising all stakeholders of a critical situation that may have potential impact on the operations
- Conduct regular calls with Site and Process BCP Managers and take the status of risks and actions to plan for. Communicate and record minutes and ensure the actions are completed within the defined timelines.
Position Specifications :
Education and Experience:
- Minimum Graduate / Post Graduate (BE / BE, MBA / MBA)
- ISO 22301 Certification
- CBCP / CBCI
- Relevant experience required is 4-5 years in BCP with exposure to IT DR
- Business understanding - Should have worked on Business Continuity Planning for business processes with multiple site presence
