Macro Research Role-IIT Graduate with Fixed Income Experience

Fixed Income Research Role at Lead Levels with Leading MNC and no 3 ITES company in India for the client ( leading investment Bank) at Mumbai.

Mandatory: BE/BTech from IIT

Role summary:

As a Research Analyst, the candidate will work with a senior analyst as part of the Global Macro Research (Rates, securitized products, etc) team and will be expected to gather, track and analyze relevant data, update models/analysis, present findings to internal clients, etc. The Global Rates Research team responsibilities include coverage of government bonds, money markets, agency MBS, interest rate derivatives.

Job Responsibilities include

- Analyzing and evaluating bonds and other interest rate instruments

- Updating and analyzing various databases and models maintained by the team

- Writing-up ongoing updates

- Keeping track of relevant news reports

- Generating files/analyses for client requests

- Working with our global teams (NYK/London) to generate new ideas as well as produce and publish research reports

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree from IIT

- CFA (desirable)

IT Skills Required:

- Proficiency in Excel

- Basic knowledge of programming languages (VBA, Python, C++ etc)

- Familiarity with data analysis techniques desirable (SQL, MATLAB, SAS etc)

Financial skills desirable:

- Knowledge of statistical techniques such as Regression Analysis, PCA, Factor analysis etc

- Experience working on large data-sets

- Basic knowledge of Bond and Futures/Options math desirable
