Machine Learning Role - General Insurance Domain

Position Description: Candidate will be responsible in building and maintaining Predictive models using various ML algorithms like GBM, GLM. This will include working with external data, testing the importance of factor; explain the ML models to stakeholders etc. Work can be from Risk Premium calculation, Fraud Prediction, Retention Conversion modeling etc.

Job Description

- General Insurance knowledge, worked with underwriting or claims departments

- Expert in building predictive models for General Insurance Domain. Like predictive modelling for Risk Premium, Risk Selection, Fraud Detection, Retention or conversion models etc.

- Ability to write efficient code for Machine Learning.

- Ability to handle and process large data using SAS, Python or R.

- Good understanding of insurance terms and terminology.

- Understand the key aspects of good data governance i.e. Data Models & Data Dictionary.

- Expert in Data Preparation, Data Summary, Data Visualization

- Expert in R or Python and SAS or SQL

- Worked in multiple platforms like VBA, R, Python, Qlik, Tableau etc.
