1. JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for all transactional activities related to underwriting (quote generation, guidelines development, decentralization )and policy management (Checking terms and coverage under the policy and endorsement, developing calculator for endorsement) of group health product. Should know the right portfolio mix to be maintained. Should be proactive in achieving Top line without compromising bottom line.

2. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Implement the UW philosophy for the health portfolio. Prepare underwriting quotes and submit for higher approvals with required information within TAT.

2. Responsible for Product Intelligence, portfolio review with respect to Product performance and Claim Ratios.

3. Policy Management including Policy issuance and endorsement management.

4. Provide technical/product trainings and guidance to coworkers, sales team, claims and underwriting team.

5. Portfolio Management- Monthly analysis of accounts, measure profitability and remedial actions through discussions with internal stakeholders.

6. Implementation of IT systems, Product Requirement gathering, periodic system UAT, Coordinate for subsequent Change Requests and provide sign offs.

Educational Qualifications and Experience

For Manager

- Minimum graduate. Associate is a must. Fellowship is preferred.

- Minimum 5 - 7 yrs of work experience in cross functional product categories (health and retail u/w) with relevant exposure in GI.

For Manager

- Minimum graduate. Associate is a must. Fellowship is preferred.

- Minimum 5 - 7 yrs of work experience in cross functional product categories (health and retail u/w) with relevant exposure in GI.

For Asst. Manager

- Minimum graduate. Associate is preferred. Master’s preferred.

- Minimum 3 - 5 yrs of work experience in cross functional product categories (health and retail u/w).
