Job description:

1 Preparation of Tax Audit, Transfer Pricing, Income Tax Returns and other statutory forms based on detailed analysis of applicability of clauses, sections etc. and information through effective co-ordination with various functions

2 Prepare data and coordinate with HO to ensure timely and accurate CBC and master file compliances

3 Undertaking detailed study of case history, legal research on issued involved and

preparation of appeals/submissions to be submitted before Assessing Officer, Transfer Pricing Officers, CIT(A), DRP and ITAT.

5 Assisting the seniors for representation of cases before Assessing Officer, Transfer Pricing Officers, CIT(A), DRP and ITAT.

6 Providing consultancy on TDS applicability and withholding tax implications on overseas payments made by Indian entities after analyzing treaty benefits.

7 Undertaking in-depth research to provide consultancy on certain M&A transactions, capital gains issues, corporate structuring etc.

8 Analysis of the tax implications of the certain incentives given to employees and advising on the tax effective structure for employees on a need basis

9 Keep oneself and team updated on tax reforms in India and keep team members and superiors updated on impact on LTI & measures, if any, to be taken

10 Effectively liaising with external and internal stakeholders (Tax consultants, L&T corporate DT, and other internal functions of LTI)

11 To understand current tax processes, effectively connect business processes with tax function, apply tools and process improvements to tax function.

Required Skills:

Qualified CA (Completion attempts should be max 2) with 3-4 years of relevant experience in Direct Tax.
