Job Purpose:
- The Regional Head is responsible for directing the affairs of the wealth management division to achieve profit, growth & customer service objectives by managing their business / income budgets, sales initiatives & client acquisition & retention plans.
Principal Accountabilities:
To implement strategies for sales & brand management:
- To undertake periodic sales forecast, execute sales strategies & budgets, employ resources & coach teams to achieve them
- To envisage future business growth, devise a regional marketing strategy & allocate branch & product targets
- To map the target HNI clients in the region & establish relationships with them to maintain the pipeline funnel
- To establish L&T brand in the region by executing marketing & brand differentiation campaigns
To review client portfolio & product positioning:
- To review the customer profiles & the financial analysis / investment advice provided by various RMs
- To constantly motivate and develop the sales teams to garner business growth
- To develop schemes & prioritize sales of products
To ensure high levels of client satisfaction:
- To interact regularly with the research teams to publish high quality research analysis which can be shared with HNIs
- To motivate RMs to display highest levels of client servicing standards
- To monitor the TATs & customer servicing metrics of client servicing teams & suggest necessary actions, if any
- To encourage implementation of best systems & practices for enhancing productivity across operations
To review business performance of the region:
- To achieve defined sales targets of assigned portfolios
- To maintain projected fee income at budgeted numbers
To present regional MIS:
- To review and present periodic MIS of region-wise, client-wise & product-wise sales
- To monitor & analyze deviations of sales vs. budgets & review regional sales trends
- To perform competitive benchmarking in the region and highlight the salient points to the teams and top management
To contribute in team development and skill enhancement:
- To evaluate branch wise manpower plans & ensure effective retention through career progression & performance linked incentive structures
- To ensure that requisite product & behavioral trainings are imparted in the branches in conjunction with the HR dept
Educational Qualification:
- MBA with specialization in Marketing /Finance
Functional & Behavioral Skills:
- The critical skill sets that this profile requires are an in-depth knowledge of all wealth management products & services, strong communication, pro-activeness and high customer & target orientation.
Relevant & total years of Experience
- MBA with minimum 10 to 12 years of experience in direct selling of financial products
