IT Operations Leader - Applications Support
Role :
To lead and provide high quality operational and technical applications and systems support to L&T construction business functions. Owner of the overall applications support and problem management processing following ITIL methodology to ensure that applications are running and meeting all agreed upon business SLA and KPI. This is a critical role reporting to IT head of the organization.
Location: Chennai
Accountabilities Knowledge & Key Skills :
- Develop and maintain Key Performance Indicator (KPI) and SLA (Service Level Agreement) and overall health of all the applications of L&T Construction.
- Lead Application Support team and manage and Own the Problem Management Process.
- Manage customer helpdesk processes.
- Develop, co-ordinate and promote the effective functioning of problem management activities across all of L&T Construction teams.
- Contribute to the planning of application/infrastructure releases and configuration changes
- To examine potential areas for Service Improvement and raise proposals with the Service Manager
Functional Skills and Experiences :
- Experience leading technical support teams, 8+ years experience on hands-on application support leadership role including helpdesk.
- Extensive problem solving and debugging skills.
- Experience with working in an ITIL environment & ITIL Certification
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Extensive Knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Asp.net, SQL Server, HTML 5.0, Share point, Power BI)
