Senior Analyst - Reporting  Roles and responsibilities :  - The principle purpose of the Senior Analyst, ADO is to enable the analytical capabilities of the Enterprise Analytics organization at Lowe's. This individual will be responsible for building and maintaining the data infrastructure for analytics, leading projects to develop web-based applications, forecasting and analytic models and advanced reporting and incorporating new technology trends and capabilities into data solutions.   - The Senior Analyst, ADO will work closely with Enterprise Analytics and other business partners to define technical requirements, create project plans, identify data sources, and implement these into new technical solutions. Additionally, the position will have responsibility for maintaining syndicated and ad-hoc reporting, ensuring data accuracy, multi-source data integration, and supporting the analytics teams.   - In addition, the Senior Analyst, ADO is responsible for assisting on the implementation of projects, providing expertise in the problem analysis, implementation, and support phases. This individual is expected to stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, new methodologies, and provide guidance to team members.  - To accomplish this, the Senior Analyst, ADO must have a balance of business acumen and strong technical skills including demonstrated knowledge of database systems, application development, reporting, and analytic data concepts.   Essential Responsibilities :  - Builds and maintains the data infrastructure and supports analytical functions by providing data solutions, providing expertise in structured and unstructured data concepts, demonstrating competency in data manipulation and analysis - accessing raw data in varied formats with different methods and analyzing and processing data, working with others to develop, refine and scale data management and analytics procedures, systems, workflows, best practices and other issues, identifying areas that require Big Data solutions, helping to develop business cases for Big Data, and working with architects to develop analytic data solutions, providing expert technical guidance for Data Analytics services including integration into existing technology and system management, performing development, support, and documentation for database and data integration solutions (including analysis, development, and support for file exchanges, application data integration, and data warehouse extract, transform, and load (ETL)  - Assists development projects for web-based applications, forecasting and analytic models and advanced reporting by maintaining a high level of expertise in these areas; being able to work closely to support team lead to communicate with team members and business partners.  - Incorporates new innovations into existing processes, such as report design and delivery, data integration, and application development by staying current on the technology landscape and industry trends from the perspective of a consultant and solution developer, proactively identifying new technology and capabilities;
