The Manager/ Sr Manager, (Pricing) should have knowledge and hands on experience to play the following role: - Responsible for building a high-performance team that will drive projects providing strategic and tactical analytics support to the Pricing, Promotions and Credit organization - Lead, ideate, ensure delivery and perfect execution of projects and drive meaningful impact supporting the larger margin goals for the company - Work closely with the Data Science team to deliver in-house products and solutions - Build robust processes to ensure 100% accuracy and timely delivery of projects - Follow best practices to ensure state of art delivery organization - Work with business partners and others in CSC-B to constantly find opportunities, leverage commonalities and ensure proactive solution building and delivery - Business problem identification through various ways including strong relationship building, staying connected, being proactive in thinking through innovative solutions etc. - Knowledge of multiple approaches to tackle problems and having the intellect to use appropriate approach according to the situation - People management responsibilities - including hiring, engagement, talent assessments, appraisals and other duties like retention Qualifications & Qualities: - Post Graduate in Statistics/Mathematics/Economics or any quantitative field - 10+ years of experience - Prior experience in pricing analytics, preferably supporting a retailer - Strong retail background. Ability to relate to business problems and strike a chord with the business partners as they collaborate to tackle the business problems - Strong data collection, collation and cleansing skills - Strong business understanding and know-how - Strong influencing abilities - Superior liaising, project management, co-ordination, planning and facilitating skills - Superior communication skills - being able to manage upward, peers and offshore teams. Being able to translate business requirements to actionable deliverables - Strong knowledge of Statistical concepts, SAS, SQL, R or Python - Exposure to any pricing analytics tools like DemandTec, JDA, SAP, etc.
