HR Business Partner - LOWE'S INDIA has responsibility for helping to effectively implement business focused people programs, services and systems that support the Lowe's Vision in assigned LOWE- S INDIA departments. These duties encompass retention, performance management, employee engagement, employee development, employee relations, and diversity and inclusion. This person will provide guidance and interpretation of a variety of company HR policies and initiatives, benefits, compliance, etc. As an HR generalist, this person works in partnership with other HRBPs & HR specialist functions including Training & Development, Organizational Development, Recruiting, Compensation & Benefits, HR Operations, and Compliance to deliver the aforementioned services to LOWE'S INDIA managers and employees.

The position reports into the Senior Manager -HR Business Partner team

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Staffing and Retention :

- Will partner with the Talent Acquisition team, as needed, to help execute strategies or tactics to address the staffing needs of assigned LOWE- S INDIA departments with respect to lateral and college recruiting.

- Will help assigned LOWE- S INDIA departments execute strategies to achieve retention goals.

Performance Management :

- Will ensure that managers in assigned LOWE'S INDIA departments are trained in setting SMART goals and conducting effective performance appraisals.

- Will ensure that annual performance appraisals are conducted appropriately and according to schedule for all employees in the departments.

- Will use HR metrics to help assess and optimize employee and unit performance in assigned CSC_B departments.

Employee Engagement :

- Will provide coaching training and guidance to managers in assigned LOWE'S INDIA departments, to improve employee engagement and culture of inclusion.

- Will work with the managers to know and understand employee pulse and in turn work with the other HR teams to translate it to concrete actions.

Employee Development :

- Working in partnership with the Learning and Development team, will help managers and employees in assigned LOWE'S INDIA departments diagnose employee development needs and access resources to address those needs.

Employee Relations :

- Provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees in assigned LOWE'S INDIA departments on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance/conduct issues and the application of HR policies and procedures.

- Work with HR Business Partner to help investigate and resolve internal employee complaints in assigned LOWE- S INDIA departments. Will partner with the Legal team/Compliance group, as necessary, to help resolve ER issues.

- Will conduct exit interviews for team leaders and managers on terminated employees in assigned LOWE- S INDIA departments, as well as diagnose issues or trends and prescribe appropriate corrective actions.

- Will help to design and execute the processes and procedures necessary to carry out organizational restructuring in assigned CS-B departments.

Diversity and Inclusion :

- Will help assigned LOWE'S INDIA departments develop, execute and monitor the progress of action plans to execute the Lowe's Diversity and Inclusion Initiative,

Special Assignments :

Will complete special assignments, projects, or tasks, as deemed appropriate by the HR leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Skills/Knowledge:

Required :

- Full time Master's degree in Human Resources or Psychology

- Proven ability to be an effective HR partner with client groups.

- Excellent communication skills, including written, listening and speaking.

- Knowledge of local employment laws and regulations.

- Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees.

- Proven ability to manage multiple issues and projects.

- Ability to make complex issues simple and understandable.

- Strong analytical, problem solving and conflict resolution skills.

- Team-player & Collaborative skills

- Ability to deal with ambiguity and change.

Experience:

Required -

At least 8-12years total HR experience post post-graduation qualification. This should include at least 4 years as an HR generalist.

Required -

Full time Master's degree in Human resources from a reputed institute
