As a Sourcing & Procurement Assistant Manager or Manager

- You will have special focus on designing and implementing strategies & systems for sourcing and procurement of indirect categories, processes & technologies.

- Review the existing pre-defined policies and procedures and benchmark with the industry. Develop and implement the same to ensure the end to end - source to pay- process is compliant with the legal, finance and compliance policies and procedures, and automate using tools wherever possible.

- Analyze the existing sourcing/procurement frame work including sourcing/procurement activities, demand management, contract management, vendor management and review and benchmark a wide variety of tools/techniques to identify and implement the most optimized solution and tools / techniques. Working knowledge of Spend analysis tools and techniques.

- Effectively partnering with sourcing and procurement teams globally and regionally to ensure best support to businesses and stakeholders by leveraging the global policies and tools/techniques.

- Experience on buying some indirect material/services, covering Sourcing to Negotiation to Purchase Order generation to Invoicing & Vendor management & payment, is essential.

- Work with cross functional teams to drive sourcing and procurement initiatives and add value.

- Driving operational excellence and process improvements in the source to pay processes.

- Understand and communicate Purchasing policies and procedures to the business stakeholders and seek feedback to consistently improve and streamline the sourcing function.

Qualifications or Skillsets :

- Working knowledge of either of procurement tools like SAP, Ariba, Peoplesoft, Oracle. And Spend analysis tools like Ariba, Zycus, Bravo etc

- Sourcing and Contract Management - Possess complete knowledge in Functional Business area. Easily understand any AS-IS process and design TO-BE. Some experience as a buyer is important.

- Business analytics & market research will be an added advantage. Advanced MS-Excel knowledge is vital.
