Analyst/Senior Analyst - IT Governance
Job Summary :
Management of establishing, deploying & continuously improving process, procedures, templates, guidelines, checklists leveraging existing assets at Lowe's Corporate Office (US) and localizing as relevant to the extent that it serves distributed work management, transparent project / CSC-B governance and factoring in local regulatory requirements. The focus area of this position during the initial phase is towards supporting IT Governance methodologies and practices. To work closely with counterparts in the corporate side and align work methods with focus on increased efficiency and compliance to established standards
Essential Functions and Responsibilities :
- To establish and maintain a policy and process asset library (including change management)
- Support delivery teams in IT to define and deploy methodology on work management, governance & enable continuous improvement
- Define, Implement and Train the project teams on S/w development methodologies
- Measure process implementation effectiveness, seek feedback and manage changes.
- Plan and conduct internal process compliance checks (for delivery)
- Drive Clarity Compliance with in project team
- Support project teams by Driving/implementing AGILE/SCRUM based process methodologies for application development.
- Ensure internal reviews are instituted
- Publish balance scorecard based reports to management as per established guideline periodically
- Flag delivery risks & key issues that may impact objectives
- Institute stakeholder satisfaction surveys and conduct them periodically
Required Qualifications : Academic :
- Bachelor of Engineering (Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communication)
Or
- MCA or MBA (Systems)
Or
- Any deviation in the above could be considered on case to case basis
Good to have certifications :
- Trained on implementing CMMI-Dev 1.3, CMMI-SVC 1.3 or above,
- Agile/SCRUM
- ITIL V3 Foundation or above (Optional)
- Lean / Six Sigma (Optional)
Must have experience :
- 4 to 8 years of core experience in methodology/Process/Governance area
- Experience in implementing management systems (e.g. QMS, ISMS, EMS etc) and more preference would be provided for those who have worked on integrated management system
- Experience in benchmarking management systems, processes and its deployment against industry standards
- Implementation experience in metrics, dashboards and BSCs
- Experience in establishing policy framework, implementation review and change management
- Experience in process definition and design of controls
- Experience in SCRUM/AGILE is must
- Sound program & project management knowledge
- Quantitative project management
- Very good interpersonal skills
- Cross cultural understanding and ability to work
- Ability to consult and provide solutions in process, tools and people
- Ability to manage internal and external conflicts professionally
