Lovely Professional University is established by the State Legislature of the Government of Punjab through the enactment of the Lovely Professional University Act,2005 (Punjab Act No.25 of 2005) and is recognized by the UGC. It is the largest single-campus university in India having more than 30000 on-campus and 1,00,000 distance learning students and 3500 faculties and staff in a campus spread over 600+acres of land on NH-1, on Jalandhar-Delhi GT Road, Punjab. The university offers more than 200 academic degree programmes to a cultural confluence of diverse students from all the states of India and 28 countries.

- Professor/Associate/Assistant Professor - Agriculture/Horticulture/Forestry

- A minimum of five/ten years of teaching and research experience in a premier university/Institutes of scientific organizations with a good track record of supervising Ph.D, research students and completions.

- People from industry (in job or retired) may also apply for full time, Part time or Visiting Faculty positions.
